There are just 33 days left in our 100 Day Challenge. We have had one Dessert Get Together so far with three more planned. We also have as many as four more being planned.
We still need $58,000 to meet our $105,000.0 goal. So please pray that we’ll be able to raise these funds by Aug. 17.
We have begun having people come to “visit” us on the land. Everyone has been impressed by the land and the current building.
A group of young people came from Bridge Community Church in Sauk Rapids a few weeks ago. They did an incredible job of cleaning up a portion of the beach. Pastor Jason Schafbuch and his team worked hard on a pretty hot day. Judy and I appreciate so much all that they did. Below are pictures of the beach before and after their work. There is also a picture of the firepit we’ve built by the lake and the trail leading down to the beach.

We continue to thank God for opening this opportunity to us. This place is so peaceful. We regularly see deer. We now have a doe and her two fawns frolicking in the water on our waterfront. They are often joined by another two does. A recent guest commented on the call of the Loons. “That’s just beautiful,” they said over and over again.
Please continue to pray for SAM. Pray that God will meet our financial needs. Pray that more and more people will hear about SAM too. Remember, if you know of someone who had lost a child please let them know about SAM. Well, I’ve got to run. Remember, we love you guys! God bless - Pat & Judy
